"Toowoomba's Eat Street"
Margaret Street is the main cafe and restaurant street in Toowoomba, and is often refered to as Eat Street. There are several hotels and pubs, and the entertainment is great, especially with the Strand cinemas.
The traffic is always very heavy especially in the afternoon.
Margaret Street also borders Queens Park - by far the largest park in Toowoomba, which is full of playgrounds and often has special activities such as the circus, plays, and concerts. It also ends just before The Warrego Highway going down the range, so it is often used for people travelling to Brisbane.
