"Great place to live"

An incredibly convenient & pleasant place to Iive with great cafe, restaurant & retail options & multiple parks. Melbourne University & the nearby medical precinct drive strong demand for rental accommodation. A film at cinema Nova followed by dinner around the corner at Carlton Wine room is one my favourite Carlton activities. Adjoining the CBD it offers the opportunity to access all the CBD has to offer while being able to live in a far less dense residential environment. However at 13,600 resident per square km it is not far off greater Cario at 15,600! Its housing stock includes Victorian terraces, public housing, specialist student accommodation (increasing the density figures) & increasingly high end multi unit townhouses & apartments. Its easy access to the fresh food options at nearby Queen Victoria market is a bonus as is the short walk to hip & happening Fitzroy. Neighbouring Carlton North offers more historically consistent residential streetscapes & a less busy more "village" feel. Scott Hall - Buyers Advocate 0457 513 124

"Cosmopolitan Carlton"

Where do I start with Carlton. It is a wonderful Suburb with so much to offer from great casual cafes to fine dining restaurants, beautiful boutique shops, quirky bars and much more. There are beautiful single and double fronted terrace style homes with nature strips in the centre of the road for neighbours to enjoy their coffee catch ups or enjoy the sunshine on the weekend.
It is walking distance to the CBD or short tram ride. Carlton boasts style and sophistication whilst also being one of Melbourne's most trendy and attractive suburbs to live, dine or visit.

"Uni Students Paradise"

Melbourne University takes up a lot of the Carlton area, a lot of student accommodations perfect for overseas or local students to live somewhere close to where they study, so that they can have that little bit more sleep during the grilling university years.

Public transport and food are great in the Carlton area. If you are an student or a Investor, Carlton is a good choice.

"Carlton - right in the centre of everything"

Carlton is a fantastic place to live. Everything that Lygon St has to offer ..... food, shops cinema, and only 5 minutes walk to the CBD! I have never felt uncomfortable nor unsafe in Carlton. The shops are always bustling, although not too busy, and the restaurants of a night time are vibrant. I cant think of a better place in Melbourne to live!
Traffic in Lygon Street can by a little busy, but certainly nothing like the street of other nearby areas such as Richmond etc. I have never had a problem getting a park - although I must admit, once you live in Carlton there is little need for a car....you can walk everywhere!

This is a beautiful area close to the city with abundant public transport.

You can easily walk to the Victoria Markets, Melbourne University and Melbourne CBD. This is a great location.
