If you won Lotto where would you live in Melbourne?
Melbourne (Greater) Region is located in the state of Victoria.
Where would you live in Melbourne if you won lotto (Oz Lotto Powerball)
I guess this would depend on the amount won.
But I might try and take a stab:
$10 million- nice apartment in Melbourne CBD
$20-30 million- an apartment or house for $2.5-3.5 million
$30-70 million- Monomeath Avenue/Mont Albert Road Canterbury
$100 million- Toorak or Brighton
Would require at least $160-200 million to buy a $20 million+ trophy home in Brighton, Hawthorn or Toorak
If I won Euromillions properly ie. win 100-190 million+ euros or 75-150 million+ pounds, then one could very well afford a $20 million+ home in Brighton or Toorak.
Conversely, if USA Mega millions or Powerball's advertised jackpot shoots to $600 million+ (and taking the IRS factor into account ie. federal and state taxes) then definately with $200 million left over, you could still buy in Brighton or Toorak.
Actually $200 million+? Give me Wolseley Road Point Piper 2027 any day of the week!
