"Economically Depressed"

Tasmania has been running at a 2 speed economy for some time now. The Greater Hobart area has the strongest population growth and economic data. The Northern half has been in economic recession for over 5 years. Given said, the north is quite pretty. St Helens and the bay of fire area have some of the best beaches in Tasmania.

"Northern Tassie, The better half"

Out of the two if i had to chose between the norther or the southern area of Tassie it would be northern hands down, every time. Filled with great beaches and lovely national parks it is a really a beautiful place, Although it is not where the capital is, it still is the location of the three next biggest cities in Tasmania in Launceston, Devonport and Burnie. So out of the the 4 biggest cities in Tasmania the northern side holds three of them. So don't just take my word for come see for yourself how beautiful the northern side of Tasmania is. I reccomend it to anyone.
