"The Shopping Mall"
Although it stretches from Lambell Terrace over 15 blocks before it becomes The Mall, Smith Street sees most of its shopping action in just two blocks. The Smith Street Mall contains specialty shops, banks, arcades, fast food outlets, a beautiful fountain, and is a great place to tap into the city vibe. The longer car-carrying sections of Smith Street carries commuters to and from town, and a large Woolworths supermarket sees lots of travellers stocking up their motor-homes before they head off to more remote areas.
