"Green, peaceful street with 8 mins walk to the trains and 5 mins drive to the shopping centre"
When buying in Epping I was looking for the place close to the train station (I commute every day to the city) but at the same time with as little traffic as possible, surrounded by trees or parks and close to schools. I believe I found it - it's Touhey Ave, but I can say the same about all surrounding streets: Peppercorn Pde, Letchworth Pl, Greenbrook Drive.
I walk to the train station every day, drop off my kid at the childcare on my way to the train and my travel from home to the office in the city takes 50-55 mins. Train itself takes around 40 mins to the city.
The street is close to the High street - around 10 mins walk. Epping Plaza - 5 mins drive or 18 mins walk. There is bus to Epping Plaza on the Greenbrook drive - every 10 mins I think but I never used it.
