"Very Convenient, Nice Neighbours, Close to City"
I haven't lived here for some time and I believe some tunnel works are happening in the area which could affect the street. Local parks are great, close to Toombul which is smaller and more convenient than Chermside. Excelent access to the city, north and south bound highways and airport. Enjoyed living here...

"Nice quiet street, nice houses with large blocks."
A friend lived in this street and when we visited we loved the area. Half the street is a dead end so no traffic. Nice neighbours...

"Some City Views some nice homes, close to transport, schools, shops."
The good - A freind lived here and we reguarly visited. Nice street, nice people close to everything...
The not so good - Samford Rd end can be busy and the other end sometimes has cars parked from the train station and day care.
Parks around the corner, Some very nice homes, great suburb.

"Great for family with fun at the beaches."
We have family in Yamba and consider moving down there for the beaches and relaxed life style. Drawback is that it is difficult to earn a good income in the area. Local apartments and caravan parks are excellent value and we always have lots of fun down there. Lots of retirees....

"A great place to visit, Quiet and easy going. Not much here but it is beautiful around the water."
My wife lived in Palmers Island with her family and we still reguraly visit. Looking at buying a block of land there for retirement although not expecting much rental return or capital growth but nice to get riverfront land cheapish.

"Beautiful location, great local shops, close to Brisbane although rural setting."
Beautiful location, great local shops, close to Brisbane although rural setting. We regularly visit this area with many friends living in the suburb. For a rural location this area has it all. Samford Hotel is worth visiting if you have kids as they have a great outdoor play area and food and atmosphere is great.

"Lived in Upper Kedron for 2 years now and will probably never leave. Love it...."
Great for families with excellent schools, parks, bike tracks, etc. close to great shops, transport. Just far enough away from Pubs and Clubs to be convenient but does not affect our lifestyle. Great Location.

"Lived close to the train lines which you could hear but not too bad. Nice Area, Convenient"
I lived in Ryans Road when I was 19 which was great for travel to Work in the city.
Shops, Trains, Schools are all very close and of good quality. Area shops have recently been upgraded which makes living nicer. I now live in a outer suburb which is a little slower and family friendly which I prefer although can't really complain about the location. Great Place.

"Quiet street in an established family and children freindly neighborhood"
Great place to live – feel safe, quiet, bike paths everywhere, parks and happy families. Our Family will not move out of this suburb until the kids finish school and then we may decide to stay. Local schools are Excellent as we really feel a part of the community.
Beautiful place to live, nice shops, transport is close.
Excellent area for families and singles. With a wide variety of properties which give a wide variety of sale prices. Some of the homes may require some renovation work to make into your own piece of paradise. Normally any renovations increase the value of the property at sale and improve lifestyle.

Yep it is a really good place to live. It's like the perfect mix of city and country. you will always be close to the bush and the city
"Lived at the top of Cooinda St which was beautiful. Love the area..."
We lived at the top of the street which is quiet and beautiful, I imagine the bottom of the street is noisier as it adjoins Waterworks Rd.
Beautiful place to live, nice shops, transport and the drive to the city in peak hour doesn't seem as hard as other areas I have lived.
Great area for families and singles, close to quality shops, great schools, short walk to trains and busses.

"Samford Road is Busy and Noisy although the Mitchelton area is great..."
Samford Road is busy and noisy although the area makes up for the noise. When I lived here it was as a student so the main road was cheap but great as it was close to everything. Since leaving Samford Road I have moved to many homes in the area which are not noisy at all.
Great area for families and singles but probably wouldn't have a family on Samford Rd as it is too busy, close to quality shops, great schools, short walk to trains and busses.

Hi Zarcomau,
I am thinking of moving to Keperra because of some good suburb reviews and low housing prices. I was wondering which is a good state school in this suburb?

Thanks for your review. Did you find the noise of the airport, aeroplanes flying over or the airport link road to be a problem at all? I'm looking at a place around the corner and am concerned about noise.
