It does not have the city or other fancy suburbs vibe but very peaceful environment to raise a family

There is nothing that you cannot find in Bundoora except Eureaca that I bet you don't visit it regularly even if you live by it.
The population is mostly elderly people and the only thing that could improve is Bundoora Square
Cheap fruits in Settelment road, high quality (Halal) meat in Lalor, cheap pool (Watermarc) in Greensborough, cheap fuel and groceries in Castco (Epping), Bunnings (Thomastown and Mill Park) you have everything.
Restaurants are not that great I have to admit - or at least I don't know the good ones, but for sure avoid KFC in Greensborough
Within 5 km you will reach 5 shopping centres.

The tram takes ages to get to City but Wastonia station seems to be a good public transport option
Andrews' suburban loop plan is to build a train station in Bundoora but that would eventuate in 2050 if not later.

Lived in Nickson street for just over a year. Absolutely hell to get into the city via car/tram/bus and train. Other than that it’s a nice area, not too hilly and lots of amenities easy to get to from all ends. If you work or study in mill park on one end to Preston/Northcote at the other, it’s a great location and you won’t need a car.

Plenty Road is almost always packed. Why they’re building apartments on it I have no idea.

General rule in Australia don't live near any students area

Bundoora has recently become more costly in the recent years. House prices have gone up but there has been houses that have been bought for a bargain. There is a lot of parks and great open spaces. The nearest shops are at walking distance.

Then there is the traffic. It is a shocker between 8:00 and 11. And between 3:30-6:300 but what area doesn't have traffic between those times. It is a lovely area overall. I have lived here for 9 years now and I have no real complaints. The trip to lygon would take around 40 minutes. Good place.

Nice lake in Botanica park, great for long walks.

Having grown up in the area a may be seen to be bias. Its no accident values in Bundoora a risen steadily over the last 10 years. From Tram route 86, bus services to local primary and secondary schools, Latrobe University, RMIT University and Bundoora Park. Then you are spoilt for choice with Bundoora Square, University Hill and the newly complete Polaris for all your shopping needs. Bundoora is an ever changing affluent suburb with lots to offer.

Bundoora is a great suburb to live in, we live off grimshaw street near plenty road and absolutely love that everything is walking distance... Great doctor, variety of shops (Coles, Safeway or aldi) , fast food choices, public transport if you need it. This suburbs gonna boom! Our house has doubled in price in 7 years. Great place to buy! And 20-25 minute drive to the city. Safe, family friendly neighborhood. P.s Never seen a "hoon" around my streets so not all of bundoora has hoons and I been here 7+ yrs.

Good Universities. Good sized blocks, lots of green. Great for young families or students.

Bundoora is full of hoons and students, at night you can expect vandalism, drunkenness and cars doing burnouts at most intersections and roundabouts. Greenwood Drive would be the absolute worst street in Bundoora, its like living on Bell Street, carries a lot of traffic, A LOT !!!!

Fantastic place to live, close to schools. Cafe, shops, tram and Universities

Very nice and lively place. All amenities are close. two hot spots La Trobe Uni and RMIT. Very good public transport. I love the place.

University Hill
By far the best development in the north east, large blocks beautiful landscaping and views, close to all possible retail / amenities from schools to childcare / medical. With majority of the houses not yet constructed it is already looking serene and a peaceful place to reside. No regrets watsoever., The prices are also quickly exceeding expectations.

Bundoora's got the lot...

There's everything you need within a 15 minute drive from Bundoora really... And if you dont drive, the trams and buses will be there for you. I love this place

Number of hospitals: Northpark Private Hospital, La Trobe Medical Centre as well as Bundoora Extended Care Centre.

Shopping Centre within metres: Brand Junction, Bundoora Square.

All you need is to move into this livable suburb!

Bundoora is a good suburb to live in. Over the years i have noticed that more and more students have moved in to Bundoora. The housing prices have also gone up. Very easy access to public transport, La Trobe university and shops

Close to school (Bundoora Primary, Colege), excelent network connection with City , shops close by, green suburb with fresh air, afordable house prices, easy access to Western Ring Rd...

A Great Place To Live. Not that far from the city. Great public transport. Nice little shopping centre, and close to larger shopping centres. A pretty leafy suburb.
