"Beautiful, leafy Glen Iris"

I used to live nearby and always loved visiting friends in Glen Iris. Such stunning homes and leafy streets. Pricey real estate but I believe the blocks are good value for money. Such a nice part of the world!

"Best location for raising a family"

With so many parks and trails in the suburb, its one of the best places in the East to raise a family. Incredible access to transport (2 train lines) and so close to the shopping nearby Camberwell and Hawthorn (connected by trans). To top it off, some of Melbournes best schools are all close by. Such a beautiful and leafy part of Melbourne. It is pricey to get in, and not a lot of turnover of homes . . . But spend some time in Glen Iris, and its clear to see why.

Glen Iris a large family friendly area which includes period homes and very leafy streets with an abundance of greenery.
Located next to Malvern, it is known for its good schools, parks and shopping strip along High Street. It is in the centre of it all, cafes, restaurants and much more.
Close access to freeway, city and public transport.

"Plethora of Parks, Playgrounds & Positive People"

As both a resident and real estate agent specialising in Glen Iris and surrounds, I could not be more passionate about this wonderful leafy suburb which offers a perfect blend of old world charm and luxury homes.

It was not until I moved to the area that I really understood just how perfect Glen Iris is for families. A very tight knit community with very friendly and helpful neighbours. I think because I am from a farm in New Zealand, the abundant greenery in the area is something that really connects with me and gives a sense of relaxation. The area however is also so alive with activity if you seek it out. 26 different options for parks, endless biking & walking trails, brilliant amenities, super fresh food at Ashburton Village on High Street (or the more luxurious option of Leo’s supermarket on Summerhill Road) a myriad of cafes (with the ‘Glen Iris Pantry’ being a local institution) immediate access to the freeway and CBD, the convenience of 10 minutes to Chadstone Shopping or Bunnings (as there are a lot of DIY lovers locally) and a plethora of schooling options.

It is no surprise that once most people have moved into Glen Iris, if they move again at all, it is more often than not just to a bigger or smaller house in the same area.

BIG fan of Glen Iris and extremely enthusiastic about living and working here.

"fabulous suburb with parks and tree lined streets"

While I visited it was one of the wettest days in recent history. However, the charm and feel of the area was clear. This is a nice place to live.

During the day on the weekends it is nice and quiet, and very little through traffic on the streets making it a great place to raise a family. Its not a long trip into the city and the area is serviced well by public transport. There is a lot to like about Glen Iris.
