Ben Boutros
Ben Boutros Macquarie Park has recently been rezoned for development, therefore many of the older unit blocks around the area will probably be bought off by some big developer and you will see a lot more larger complexes such as MQ Central and 88 Talavera Rd. Big things to come for Macquarie Park

"The Area by Elusive Property"

I first lived in Macquarie Park, on Herring road back in 1990, before the trains made it so much more convenient. I'm glad to say that over the years the area has continued to improve, and I'm sure it will keep getting better. With New developments such as MQ central on Herring Rd. and now 88 Talavera Rd by Meriton, I would expect the prices to continue to show strong growth.
Macquarie Park has everything you need within walking distance and the suburb is next to none when it comes to public transport and utilities. Trains and buses service the entire area and if you don’t want to walk to a train station, most likely there is a bus stop close-by going in every direction such as the City, Parramatta and the Northern Beaches.
The shopping centre is also outstanding with great eateries and coffee shops as well as fashion, groceries and even a Medical Centre.
Macquarie University is well respected around the world as a leading university which attracts many students, and also the many corporate buildings in the area means that all rental properties will be snapped up in no time.
If you’re looking for a great area to move to, or invest, don’t look any further.

"Great suburb which tixes all the boxes"

I have 2 investment properties in Macquarie Park and find bang for your buck is really second to none. Macquarie Park is in such central location and has a train station, major shopping centre, city buses, Universty, Major business park, Parks and walking tracks and the list goes on. Considering Mac Park has all of these facilites its still very affordable and attainable, rents are cheap considering and prices are still also very affordable. I think Macquarie Park can only head up from here.

"Love it and miss it dearly!"

Hi there, I've moved overseas to the USA for a few years and I always miss home, especially all the perks of Macquarie Park. Great public transportation, quiet and peaceful surrounds and a good location all round.

Can't wait until I move back home to Sydney back to lovely Macquarie Park!

"Ticks all the boxes"

The clincher for this area is the new train line. It already had tremendous advantages - pretty good proximity to city, good bus transport, M2 motorway, major shopping centre, university, playing fields, national park, major employment areas nearby etc etc, but that train line now gives enormous new options for getting around without depending on choked Sydney roads. Throw in the new hospital and it's very hard to see how this area won't keep heading upwards.

"Business Shops Uni"

Macquarie Park has in the last 20 years developed into a massive business centre, with the likes of Optus and Goodman Fielder being headquartered there. Add to the mixture of technology based companies is the Macquarie University Campus and associated student accommodation options, and the Macquarie Shopping Centre (Myer, Big W, Target, Woolworths, Franklins and specialty stores). In February 2009 the Macquarie Uni train station, a stop on the new Epping to Chatswood was opened.
