Reviews of Neerim Road, Carnegie
"A loveable spot buzzing with life and wonderful variety of food and amenities!"
Bought an apartment and moved here 8 months ago. This is a lovely spot. It's got everything from a library to all sorts of shops along the character-filled Koornang Rd. Furthermore, it's only a smooth 20 minute drive to the city and a 10 minute drive to Chadstone and also Glenferrie Road Malvern. It's also quiet at night but in the morning, the lively chirps of birds are in the air. Ah, the air quality is great and so much better than Melbourne CBD (and the Western burbs...). Oh and don't forget that Monash Caulfield is just a 5 min drive away or just the next station if you catch a train.

"Well rounded."
It's situated on a busy street, so traffic noise is quite loud. Also, there are several hoons on the street who enjoy revving their V8 motors all hours of the night. The street is fairly safe, but on my first day, my mobile phone was stolen while we were moving boxes in.
Close to Chadstone, TWO train stations, and Koornang Road is great for food and clothes shopping.
