"A town of change in the mid-north - Not what you expect!"
This is a unique town that has reinvented itself in the last 5 years. From the post-GFC recession, this area of SA has begun rebuilding with primary production projects, town clean-ups and a community focus on what is good for the area. It shows!
Lovely homes, great views - NO powerplant!....and a rare opportunity for everyone in the street to say hi if you initiate the greeting.
I am an out of towner who has been impressed in the last 6-months by this town may quickly dismiss.

"Onkaparinga Hills - The Peace and the Quiet!"
Just moved in and love the peace and the quiet the suburb offers. No power lines and lots of green parks make for a family friendly place to call home. Short drive to all facilities like schools and shops, which is a small price to pay for such a nice suburb. Homes are well kept and people genuinely take pride in their properties.
We are very happy with our move!

"Castle Ave, Goolwa Beach - Blue Ribbon Lifestyle!"
Awesome location, that's very close to the beach, and still close to the Goolwa town centre. Loved the homes, as it was a mix of old and new. Can't stop thinking about the sound of the waves crashing when I was there. Truly a great Goolwa address!

"Port Noarlunga South - Paradise on the coast"
I make no bones about the fact I am a Real Estate agent....but I am also a coast/water lover. The Pt Noarlunga South coast is a little slice of unspoilt paradise. Surf, fish, walk, relax....it's all here. Families have a huge amount of options when it comes time to hit the beach, and those wanting a surf can grab their boards and head towards Triggs, The Trough, Seaford Reef, The Hump, The River Mouth or the Dump for a wave......snorklers will love the reef systems, and when your done splashing around, the coast has a great array of Fish + Chips on offer (bring your wallet though!). The reality of our coast is that we are very lucky to have such a nice natural playground at our fingertips......and Summer is only a few months away!
See you on the coast!

Not great for

"Southbound Ave Aberfoyle Park - The gateway to the Hub"
This cool street provides access through residential Aberfoyle Park to The Hub Shopping Centre. The street makes the gradual transition from homes to businesses, with easy access to schools as well.
It's well lit, the footpaths are easy to navigate and the bus stops at regular intervals. You've got some great shopping opportunities at the south/east end, and a service station makes filling up a breeze.
*WARNING* - The road at the South/Eastern end by the roundabout can get very slippery when wet.
All round great street to live in, and it's just so easy to get to everything.
Great for
- Proximity to Shops
- Bus route access
- Well laid out
Not great for
- Slippery road at the roundabout

"Sheoak Crescent, Aberfoyle Park - Everything you will need"
Sheoak Crescent is located in the middle of Aberfoyle Park, and is a lovely tree filled street of approx. 400 metres. The homes are mid 1980 vintage and are all well established with friendly occupant.
The gentle downward slope of the street provides excellent water drainage, and gardens and front yards are well kept.
There is a central easment/reserve that allows easy walking access to Sunnymeade Drive...and the major bus transport routes. It also allows access to the Aberfoyle Park School campus that is ideal for working families who are time poor in the morning!
All in all it's a great address, and proximity to shops, the coast and the schools will make it a very desireable proposition.
Great for
- Close to schools, shops and transport
- Very leafy green outlook

"Rosa Court, Happy Valley - Out of sight and simply perfect"
Located on the southern side of Bishops Hill Road, Rosa Court is a small quiet tree lined opportunity for those seeking a home with a nice outlook. There are only 6 properties in the Court, and all feature some sort of view back across to the Happy Valley/Woodcroft hillface.
Rosa Court is serviced by Bishops Hill Road - which continues to Chandlers Hills Road, which at times can be busy, but any time outside peak hour, Rosa Court is a very quiet proposition. Major bus routes can be accessed just metres away, and the well stocked and serviced Happy Valley Shopping Centre is a small walk away on Kenihans Road.
In addition to the Shops, BWS, McDonalds, Dental Care offices and a Mitre 10 are also very close and handy. This is a great address, with beautiful well established homes.....blink and you'll miss it!
Great for
- Close proximity to shops and transport
- Homes have views
Not great for
- Peak hour traffic can get noisey

"Greenbank Close, O'Halloran Hill - A little pocket of quiet!"
Greenbank Close is a brilliant little court that is very easy to miss if your driving along Bluehills Road. Located on the highside of O'Halloran Hill, it's surrounded by lovely well established homes. The bus runs down Bluehills Road, so transport to the city or the beach is within walking distance.
Highly reccomended for most demorgraphics, and really will suit those seeking a quiet outlook at home.
Only complaint is that the Court is small in size, so on street parking can be difficult at times.
Great for
- Location
- Close to transport
- Nice and quiet
Not great for
- Poor on street parking

"Holly Street, OHalloran Hill - high on the hill with views to please!"
Running in a north south orientation, Holly Street is a classic quiet suburban O'Halloran Hill street. What sets this gem apart is the views back across to the hills of Woodcroft.
Properties on the street are well kept and residents are friendly and approachable. I loved the close proximity to the main shopping centre of O'Halloran Hill, and the major transport corridors are just a short walk away.
All in all, a great address with some stunning views - HIGHLY RECCOMENDED!

"Majors Road - O'Halloran Hill - primary access for everyone"
My review on this road is based purely on it's functionality. Named after Major Thomas O'Halloran the founding father of O'Halloran Hill, this road runs in an East/West format. It is the main connector between South Road and Lonsdale Freeway.
At approx. the halfway point of the road, an overpass covers the Southern Expressway, and a short distance West you will find an intersection with Morphett Road that heads south.
Situated on the top most point of the hills face, Majors Road features the following;
1 - Golf driving range
2 - Onkaparinga TAFE college
3 - CSIRO research lands
4 - Fire station
5 - Gun club
6 - Model aircraft facility
7 - The defunct O'Halloran Hill Drive-in cinema
It's worth noting that this road was notoriously rough and undulated heavily. This problem caused many traffic build-ups and harsh driving conditions for many vehicles. The road has since been repaired and is now very smooth and easy to use.
"Blueberry Road - O'Halloran Hill - a great address"
This little gem is the connector road between Chandlers Hill Road to the East and Bluehills Road to the West. It only boasts a small amount of residences on it's sides, but what it lacks in homes it makes up with a beautiful location.
Situated on the 'high' side of O'Halloran Hill, Blueberry Road is a lovely, easy to access place that would suit anyone looking for a nice quiet place to live. South Road is only a short drive up the road, and traffic noise is almost zero. It is quite hilly, but that's a small price to pay for such a nice area.

"Bains Road Morphett Vale - A little bit of something for everyone"
The coolest thing about Bains Rd is the parking cut-outs along it's sides. The road carries a high traffic flow, and having a school (Woodcroft College) and a shopping centre (Woodcroft Shopping centre) means parking is always at a premium. Who ever designed this road had their head well and truly screwed on right!
There are a number of new and well established homes on Bains Road, and a wonderful open green space as well. The road is a great example of southern lifestyle, which allows all facets of life to be seamlessly intergrated together. Shops, industrial, schools, homes and parks....Bains Road has a little bit of something for everyone.
A personal favourite of mine is the easy access to the Adelaide Hills at the easterly end. It's litterally a case of 5 minutes and your amongst the SA gumtree's and Kangaroos........what more could you ask for!

"Ackland Ave Christies Beach - a quieter option by the sea"
After living on Ackland Ave for a few years I would not hesitate for one second to reccomend this address to potential residents. Not only will you enjoy many well established homes, freindly beachside community spirit, but you will also have access to the wonderful Christies Beach foreshore.
Our home was located at the westerly end, and we reguarly utilised the beach for morning walks and treasure hunts with the kids after stormy weather. The street itself is very easy to negotiate, with ready access to Gulfview Road by the intersecting roads....which lead to a number of handy retail opportunities.
It's worth noting the BP Service Station has a low-cost 3 bay, DIY carwash.....which is perfect for seaside living and keeping the salt off your car, boat or trailer. High reccomended address which is sure to please.
