Notley Street

"Great Starting Point"

After living in Notley Street for 7 years, I found it to be a great start to get into the property market. Generally quiet and a good location for anyone that maybe going to the university as not too far away. Although the area is not perceived as a highly sort after area, it is definitely not an area where you have constant issues. Although newnham doesn't have a lot of facilities to accomodate the average person, Mowbray is a 5 minute drive which consists of gyms, supermarkets etc.

Ulverstone

"Fantastic place to grow up"

After living in Ulverstone for over 12 years, I found this part of Tasmania to be fantastic. Great place to grow up with in walking distance to beaches, parks, town centre. Generally a quiet town with a great atmosphere amongst families in the area. Schooling was great and I would not hesitate to raise a family here........

Great for

  • A good lot of social venues
  • Family Friendly
  • Free parking
  • Not over congested or "too busy"
  • Relaxing

Launceston

"Launceston"

Settled by Europeans in 1806, bringing us today's Launceston which is made up of 24 suburbs and a population of just over 106000 people. Being the ninth largest non capital city in Australia, Launceston has a lot to offer for anyone looking to settle in Tas. Looking for things to do in Launceston, http://www.think-tasmania.com/things-to-do-in-launceston/ .
I have lived in Launceston for nearly 20 years and found it to be a great central point for access to everything that Tassie has on offer, being just over 2 hours to the east coast beaches, 2 to 2.5 hours to Hobart(capital) and approximately 3 hours to the far rugged west coast of Tas - with many things to do along the way! Such as stop at ashgrove cheese, chocolate factory, raspberry farm, water falls, fish farms, many parks along the way for kids to play, local zoo, go karting, , great four wheel drive tracks, fishing is great along the coast and the list goes on...... Well worth a visit if you have never been and well worth a second visit if you have....

Great for

  • Central to all Tassie has on offer
  • Affordable real estate
