"Great Local Town"

Over the New Year break I visited here for lunch and a drink at the famous Metung Hotel.
Coming here as a child, it was also nice to reminisce of those past times.

The Metung Hotel was great as always, with exceptionally fresh seafood I enjoyed for dinner. The beer was pretty fresh too.

Definitely recommend visiting Metung if down this way.

Lakes Entrance

"Wonderful & Peaceful"

I visited Lakes Entrance over the New Year break. I found it to be such a wonderful location to visit.

A strip of shops which lasts around 2km that caters for all needs. Local merchandise, food, drink, pubs and a trendy beer garden at "The Servo".

The beach is excellent too. Soft sand that you would expect at any surf beach and it is well looked after too by the local council and surf life savers.

I will definitely be going back.

You might want to remove your real estate credentials before trying to talk up a town like you're a tourist

"So central yet peaceful."

I have sold multiple homes in this lovely pocket of Geelong and it really is continuing to grow in popularity.

Peaceful, central, access to Marshall train station, i can see why so many buyers are flocking to this area.

Barwon Heads Road is being upgraded also which is going to ease traffic and be much more efficient for travel times.

Penleigh Crescent

"Living!"

One of the safest and most sort after areas on the cost.

Ocean Grove Marketplace is just around the corner, as well as Kingstone Village Square. Just far enough from the beaches, cafes and shops along The Terrace that its convenient, but you are not stuck in all the hussel and bussel on the long weekends and holidays.

My personal choice for a coffee or beer is the Dunes and view is fantastic.

"Its a Lifestyle"

Most people come to Jan Juc to escape the crowds of beach goers in Torquay and Bells Beach, But it has so much to offer!

Stunning part of the cost line with some of the best real estate you can find in Victoria. Perfect area for young families. Locals are alway happy for a chat and although the town is getting more built up it still has the feel of a coastal town.

The commute to Geelong and Melbourne have become so easy over the last few years as well.

"Something for everyone"

Abbotsford is one of Melbourne's most underrated suburbs. It gives you great access to everything the city has to offer, while presenting lush walking, biking and even kayaking along the mighty yarra. With some of Melbourne's best coffee roasted and poured in the heart of the suburb, it's a great choice for those who love a latte.

Punt Road

"Long & Direct & Useful"

One of the busier roads in Melbourne however when traveling on Punt Road in non-peak hour, it is highly efficient.

Long, direct and allows access to many other suburbs that flow off it.

If traveling through peak hour on Punt Road, it does get congested and can slow.

Charlemont

"Growing!"

Charlemont is a suburb of Geelong, Victoria, Australia. At the 2016 Census, Charlemont had a population of 364.

It was gazetted in February 2012 as part of the Armstrong Creek Growth Area, from largely undeveloped land which had formerly been part of Grovedale and Marshall.

The Charlemont Rise residential development in the suburb contains several streets named after characters and locations from the Game of Thrones television series.

A fast growing suburb in both residents and popularity.

St Kilda

"On the Go!"

St. Kilda is the place to be if you are wanting to enjoy a lifestyle that is on the go.

Beaches, backpackers, Luna Park and Acland St and that is just to name what's within 500m from each other.

With plenty of tourists, vicitors and local residnets packing the beaches on a hot day, then strolling to Acland St or Chapel St afterwards, this suburb always offers something for someone.

Extremely pet friendly with local dogs and owners gathering on the Peanut Farm most nights.
