"Great Local Town"

Over the New Year break I visited here for lunch and a drink at the famous Metung Hotel.
Coming here as a child, it was also nice to reminisce of those past times.

The Metung Hotel was great as always, with exceptionally fresh seafood I enjoyed for dinner. The beer was pretty fresh too.

Definitely recommend visiting Metung if down this way.

Lakes Entrance

"Wonderful & Peaceful"

I visited Lakes Entrance over the New Year break. I found it to be such a wonderful location to visit.

A strip of shops which lasts around 2km that caters for all needs. Local merchandise, food, drink, pubs and a trendy beer garden at "The Servo".

The beach is excellent too. Soft sand that you would expect at any surf beach and it is well looked after too by the local council and surf life savers.

I will definitely be going back.

Penleigh Crescent

"Living!"

One of the safest and most sort after areas on the cost.

Ocean Grove Marketplace is just around the corner, as well as Kingstone Village Square. Just far enough from the beaches, cafes and shops along The Terrace that its convenient, but you are not stuck in all the hussel and bussel on the long weekends and holidays.

My personal choice for a coffee or beer is the Dunes and view is fantastic.

The commute to Geelong and Melbourne have become so easy over the last few years as well.
