"Wonderful quiet suburb. Close to everything"

I lived in Conifer Cres on a canal for 13 years. The street we lived in and surrounding streets had great neighbours who were a mix of retirees, middle age and a few young families. So quiet, never any riff riff. Close to Pacific Fair and Merrimac High. Never broken into, no loud parties and neighbours all helped each other. Check out Qld police crime map stats low crime area. Loved living there. Had to move due to work transfer. Would move back as it was great.

"Peaceful and a few minutes from the hub!"

Broadbeach Waters is located within minutes of the popular "Broadie" - but perfect for those who like to be near the hustle and bustle, but quietly away from it all in a more tranquil environment. It is a friendly community that caters to various ages and social needs. There are some truly amazing waterfront homes located on the canal. The newly revamped "Pacific Fair Shopping Center" is minutes away, along with the equally revamped "Jupiters Casino". A growing property trend in Broadbeach Waters is renovation - many homes are being either demolished completely and the land rebuilt on, or completely renovated.
A perfect location for families!

"Excellent suburb with HUGE investment potential"

Just bought my 4th investment waterfront property in Broadbeach Waters for $830,000.

Capital growth has been very good here over the last 10 yrs and I expect similar growth for the future.

I love everything Broadbeach Waters has to offer. Walking distance to Pacific Fair, the beach and the cafe strip. This is a great place to invest and/or to raise a family.

Great schools, recreation and shopping in BB Waters. Looking forward to moving into this property in the future and having my children enjoy the BB Waters lifestyle.

This is one property that will stay in the family forever.

Thankyou and take care.

Great for

  • Walking distance to everything
  • World class beaches
  • World class shopping

Not great for

  • Traffic can get a little busy sometimes

Great review thanks! I'm from NSW but looking at an investment property on BB Waters next week. Every single photo is scenic, clean, pretty and tidy. The descriptions all say things like "enjoy the water skiing, jet skiing, boating etc. and one expression used was 'bridge free'...what does that mean? I don't anything about living on the waters, are there lots of rules? Many thanks.

Sorry for the late reply Jules.

Bridge free means that there is no bridge to pass under to gain ocean access. This is helpful if you want to own a large boat.

Where my property is, there is a smallish bridge that I will have to drive my boat under to cruise through the canals out to sea. But it's all good, I will purchase a boat to suit when the time comes.

Rules.........there are no rules!

Nah, kidding. No specific rules other than the ones you need to follow if building a new property on your block.

I wish you all the best Jules, take care and enjoy.

"Bag a bargain"

Broadbeach Waters is by far one of my favorite suburbs in Queensland. Close to everything Pacific Fair shopping, Broadbeach nightlife/restaurants, beaches and much more. You can still buy waterfront property in the 700's and sometimes even lower. I speak from experience when I say it is a great place to live!

"Not a fan of canals or the gold coast"

too far from everything and reminds me of 80s excess

You have rated everything as one star this seems completely ridiculous to me. For example eating out 1/5 are you some of the best restaurants on the coast are in Broadbeach I totally disagree with this comment as it is misleading and absurd.

"Envy your Lifestyle"

Broadbeach Waters is a wonderful suburb with an exceptional lifestyle and also a solid investment for your families future .It has predominately waterfront homes with a few pockets of Dry homes throughout. Its canals are clean and thriving with fish and mud crabs, and approximately 15 minutes by boat to the the Gold Coast Broadwater and seaway. The suburb has ample parks for the kids, and of course they will have their own private beach in front of your house. No traffic issues as there are several street exiting the area , so traffic jams are a thing of the past. With the Gold Coast getting bigger and bigger , Broadbeach waters situated where it is , is a great place to live and a very smart investment. It is also within a 15 minute drive to all of the Gold Coasts Private and Public Schools. I personally have lived in Sorrento and Isle of Capri , great suburbs , but the traffic come 3 pm makes it a nightmare to get in and out until about 6 pm.Now im in Broadbeach Waters im not going anywhere , im not the only one with these thought either .. Its a mixture of old and new homes , and many under construction sales vary from 500k for original dry homes to 9 Million for Palatial Riverfront homes, the average price for a tidy waterfront seems to be around the 1 mill mark.Lastly it is situated just across the road from the Gold Coasts Tourist Hub , Broadbeach. With it golden beaches , trendy cafes and countless array of shops and of course Pacific Fair shopping center, One of the the largest shopping centers in the southern hemisphere. Great Suburb, Great Location, Great Lifestyle.

"Great Inner city waterfront living!"

This house i lived at was so amazing i could walk every where i needed to, surfers paradise, broad beach, pacific fair, shops, vet, dentist, doctor, beach and more!!! The combination of multi millionare dollar waterfront homes starring at you on the opposite side of the water and inner city location give this area a 10 out of 10. Not to mention the stunning water and city skyline view. Day and night its one of my favourite places in all of the world.

Imagine 5-10 minutes walk to work or the beach. Or if you want relax have a bbq take the tinny out with friends and our family!

5 stars Broad Beach Waters is very undervalued
