"Good suburb with great upside"

I grew up in Girraween and have lived in Marangaroo for the last 3 years. Its a lot nicer than Girraween and is very similar to Alexander Heights. It’s a great suburb at this price point there’s a lot of young families as well as quite a few older residents. It’s location is it’s greatest strength being about 20minutes to the city, coast and the airport as well as 10 minutes to employment hubs Wangara and Malaga. The Primary Schools are well regarded. It’s in the Girraween HS zone but there are great Private High Schools in the area, Kingsway Christian, JSR and Mercy all within reach. The North East and North West of Marangaroo are the more sort after areas. Being next to Greenwood,Darch and Landsdale when buyers can no longer afford those suburbs, Marangaroo will be the next suburb those buyers look at.

"A quiet area"

We have been living in marangaroo for 5 years, we feel safe and raising our children in the area. Only thing about marangaroo that needs work is family’s looking after there front yards. They let them become over grown. Which makes the area look messy.

"DODGY SUBURB AVOID!!!"

The houses in this suburb are cheap to purchase for a reason. Its dodgy with crime, people and hoons thats why. And the roads to the shopping centre is confusing and chaotic. AVOID!

"Nice, quiet suburb, well placed with easy transport to city, airport and coast."

Have been living here for a few years now. It's a quiet suburb with a seemingly large proportion of older residents but an increasing amount of younger owner/occupiers moving in. Getting to the airport with the new Tonkin Hwy./Hepburn Rd. upgrade makes traffic a breeze. There is also many ways to get into the city via back roads if you want which also takes less than 20 mins. Straight to the beach in 15-20mins also no matter the traffic. Plenty of options for shops with Malaga and Wangara providing everything you need from small business. You get what you pay for, it may not be as attractive as higher priced suburbs but it's definitely got a lot going for it for the money. Plenty of parks for families also.

"Quiet Suburb - Which Could be Nicer With Council Help"

Have lived in Marangaroo for nearly 3 years and found it to be a quiet safe suburb, affordable and ideal for young families. It 20mins from the city and less than 8 mins drive to Greenwood and Warwick Tran Stations.
The only thing holding it back is the lack of council maitenance and the odd unkept rental property which tend to make it look a bit tacky. If these were tended to you would find that property values would increase inturn.
