We bought our first home here to be closer to family living in the hills district (we previously lived in the inner west & hills). We've found the area to be safe, and friendly - we're walking distance to the train station (direct to city) and a short drive to the metro (the buses are good too). There are great schools, parks, M7 cycleway, and good shops/food/coffee/healthcare is also a short drive away. With all the recent developments in the vicinity expect this area to boom in the future.

Parents built 30 odd years ago & we've always been happy.

Hidden gem with great potential. Houses sold within hours. High rental return. It is on its way becoming $2m suburb like Kellyville.

Wouldn’t wish on my worst enemy

We bought our first property here and lived for 3 years and loved everything about this suburb. Good parks, quality childcare , decent primary schools and close to all shops and malls. This suburb is within 10 minutes drive to major hubs like Rouse hill metro, Costco, IKEA and the best thing is the 50 minute straight commute to the city. We really miss this suburb but we had to upgrade and go to Glenwood after we had the second kid.
Property growth has been fantastic and the areas closer to the QH station are perfectly positioned in terms of proximity to shops, restaurants and number of quality child care centres.

Best Suburb in an affordable rage. Direct train to City. Nice public transport. Nice schools. Nice parks.. Low Crime rate. Friendly Soceity.
Specially Pye road is beautiful.

I have lived in Quakers Hill for over 35 years and have seen tremendous improvement in all areas, from ease of transport around Sydney with the M2,M7 and M4 all close by, the city is only 35 minutes by car. Improved and increased train services for those who prefer public transport. New schools being built and upgrades to roads, parks and shops make this area the ideal place to live. Crime is very low and to date I have not experienced burglary or vandalism of any kind.

I have lived here for over 20 years and loved the place. However in the last 5 years I have seen an ugly change, the people that have moved in and the crime rate that the council just turns the blind eye on is of concern.
In the 20 years 4 burglaries the last 3 in the last 4 years and I’m in a very quiet street away from the station.
If you plan to raise your kids here be very careful as the only kids outside seem to be the one making trouble.
The other concern is that water treatment (sewerage) plant, sometimes depending on the winds can be quiet unpleasant!
All in all, nice place however the council/Police !!PARENTS!! have to do something about the youth running the streets late at night.

If you are looking for a cheap place to live, and don’t have kids it will be ok.
However if you do have kids I would strongly recommend driving through late at night and make your mind up then, they could be your kids in the future!
