Pimpama is a great suburb and a mixed community where people generally maintain their homes, everything is relatively knew so you have very fast internet, good roads and facilities, no overhead power lines things like that.

There is an abundance of cafes, grocery stores, and things to do.

Pimpama is basically a part of Coomera and will benefit from the Coomera connector, the new hospital, and the massive new developments happening at Dreamworld which is in the same suburb.

Lots of theme parks in the area, Westfield is fantastic and have really great night life and alfresco dining in Coomera on the outdoor strip.

Very close to prestigious suburbs like hope island, sanctuary cove, Coomera waters, etc.

Very good suburb for commuting as it's perfectly located in between Gold Coast and Brisbane.

I've lived in the area for 3 years now after moving from Victoria and haven't looked back. The area is super friendly for families with lots of convenient shopping for everyday needs (supermarkets, pet shops, bunnings etc.) and is close to Westfield Coomera. The suburb is really great for families with lots of parks, dog parks and sporting facilities including the new sports centre. Personally, I think the right side of the highway (facing north) is nicer and is definitely more convenient for the shop. The only real downside is the M1.... the commute to Brisbane or GC can be a nightmare, especially if there's been an accident. However, it suits my family as I work north in Brisbane and my hubby works south in Gold Coast, so it works for us but being prepared for the M1 is something you have to get used to. We live in the neighbouring suburb of Ormeau and I have to say that the exits at Pimpama always seem congested. Hopefully the new exit upgrades help!

Have lived in the area for 12+ months. Have found it to be fairly safe, friendly and convenient. Lots of IGAs, Woolies, coles, bunnings, office works, workwear stores, pet store and fantastic vets, dentists and doctors close by. Tons of restaurants and fast food, 2 x train stations close by plus lots of bus services all through Pimpama. Lots of parks, sporting facilities including the brand new Pimpama sports hub which is massive. Tons of facilities in Coomera also (share the same post code, basically the same suburb).. we enjoy visiting the golf course, sanctuary cove and hope island all of which are close by.
Great location in the middle of Gold Coast and Brisbane so you can work in either and commute to both easily. Lots of schools, TAFE & roads currently undergoing changes as the improve the area and support the rapid growth Pimpama and the Coomera region are currently experiencing. We are very happy in Pimpama and enjoy the convenience and lifestyle it offers with access to all of The Gold Coast & Brisbane.

Pimpama has quickly gone through a gentrification process. Lots of the locals are people who recently moved from Sydney & Melbourne. Great prices for homes (although they have seen massive growth over the last few years with your cheapest unrenovated 2 bed property now going for close to $500,000+ it’s still some of the best value for the area.

You have Starbucks, coles, Woolies, Pimpama Tavern, the new Pimpama Pavillion which is fabulous and modern. Lots of restruarants and fast food. Coomera Westfield close by, lots of gyms and the gold coasts largest home maker centre.

20 mins to beaches, half hour to brisbane or surfers paradise (most days - sometimes traffic sucks)

You have a huge Bunnings, home make r centre, tons of great brand new parks and schools and a friendly community.

Crime used to be an issue in the area but with the new police station this issue is mostly resolved. You have the BRAND NEW Pimpama train station, tons of bus services and Coomera train station close by also as well as multiple trafes.

There is tons of growth in Pimpama with all new shops, schools, roads and public transport: we love living here it’s so convenient.

Maybe this place will be better in years to come. But at present it’s just another suburb slapped in the middle of no where with houses on top of each other with 1 meter in between them.

Traffic jams on and off the motor way. Isolated location. Great for starter homes. Lived here for 1 year.

Have family who lived here for 5 years recently they had to move it was an unsafe environment with many eshays and hoons.

Modern, Up & Coming Growth Area Of The Gold Coast With Easy Access To Brisbane.

We have lived in Pimpama for a couple of years now and were lucky enough to buy in before the 'great covid boom' - we moved from Castle Hill in Sydney and I used to travel an hour to work every day but it only takes me 30 mins or so to get to my job in Gold Coast. The area has really boomed lately with professionals / owner occupiers re-locating from Sydney & Melbourne looking for a better lifestyle and more affordable housing.

Pimpama is conveniently located 10 minutes to theme parks and 30 minutes to everything the Gold Coast has to offer including an abundance of shopping, sports, family attractions, beaches, nightlife and dining, all while being within commuting distance of Brisbane CBD with plenty of swimming spots or beaches just a short drive away.

It is a 'newer' area, which means all of the buildings are new, roads are newer, and the area was planned well and is being heavily invested in by the government and businesses with Costco, Bunnings and most major players investing big in the region.

Pimpama is benefiting from the likes of infrastructure spending, EXCELLENT sporting facilities and shopping close by and everything we need. The community is friendly and open minded, LOTS of tradies, primarily Australian / British and some New Zealand, it is a mix of younger professional couples without kids, families, LGBTQ+ and people looking for 'New' housing in 'New' suburbs.

Our neighbours are all very nice and mostly keep to themselves and lots of people have dogs which can be regularly seen walking the streets.

I was always a skeptical of the area, however after living here for some time within one of the newer estates, it is quiet and we've never had any issues with our neighbours. Only a few minutes from the shops the are has proven my original thoughts wrong.

I have been lucky enough to buy in Gainsborough Greens, Pimpama. This estate is predominantly owner occupied and is a delight to live in. My daughter gets access to more than 5 parks in the estate, heaps of walking tracks and grassed areas.

Plus we are so centra to GC and Brisbane with everything we need now within 5 minutes

- woolworths and coles
- bunnings
- new intersection coming
- new train station coming and so much more!

I am happy where I live

I've lived in Pimpama for 4 years, it is a backwards, bogan, low socioeconomic, huge families crammed in small homes haven with sardine can homes (almost all rentals) and tiny or no back yards.

They say 40 mins to Brisbane, 40 mins to gold coast like that is a good thing? What that really means is your out in developed farmland living in cheap houses that fall apart within a year, completely dependant on a stressful 40min highway drive to go just about anywhere. Trust me, it gets old super quick when you realise you have to contend with M1 traffic just to do something on your weekend (go look up how much of a mess the M1 is).

This suburb is entirely cheap housing and land packages placed on farmland owned by greedy investors and developers that plan these tiny houses and tiny roads that you can't even park on just to squash more people in. The houses are placed at an affordable price to force all the low socioeconomic, single mothers and working families with 6 kids to live, sit in prolonged traffic everyday leading to increased road rage, break ins, bored kids looking for fun...

It's a mess but the developers build it (somehow get approval from the greedy council) and run off with their money and leave disadvantaged people to deal with the outcomes. Don't move here if you're smart.

We moved to Pimpama from Miami Feb 2018.
We love it here and it has shorted my commute to work in Brisbane by 1/2. We have rented a 4 BR house @ $430 per week since moving here and live up on the hill behind the Junction. I use World Gym at Upper Coomera and it's only a quick 10 min drive away early morn and weekends. We are footy fans and find the trip to Brisbane to watch games a breeze either via Rail or Car , it's the best of both worlds having both Brisbane and the Coast so close.
Crime is much less noticeable here than it was at Miami , we love the area that much just yesterday we signed the contract for a house and land package at The Heights....even closer to the gym for me :)

Our family move here 2 1/2 years ago and so much has been done with families in mind shopping your got Westfield not far or Pimpama city, Pimpama junction and Bunnings opening soon.
Parks they have Bimbimba park Queensland best park for 2020 at Gainsborough Green and the new sports hub being build.
Great location 20min north of Surfer 40min south of Brisbane and close to the water ways of the Gold Coast
Schools are good with lots to choose from as there are lots of families

I live in Pimpama since 2016. The suburb growing very quickly. Traffic is a bit congested but It is getting better and will be fixed once they upgrade the M1 exit49. 2 small and clean shopping centers. The Biggest Sport center in Gold Coast is opening soon. Bunning and home focus shopping center will open before the end 2020. multiple medical centers. collection of public and private schools. I have heard a bout increased crime rate. Personally I live since 2016 and never had any issue and never seen any issue at least in my street.

We've lived in Pimpama since Nov 2018 and I personally it's a great, thriving place. There are 2 malls, pimpama junction and pimpama city. Both are clean, and nice places to shop. Both Pimpama State Secondary College and Pimpama State Primary College are great schools, never once had any problems. The street we are on has had zero criminal activity since being here, that I know of. I can't fault pimpama on anything. It has what we need, traffic is what you'd expect with this population. They're building a new school on yawalpah road, and a police and fire station too. Some areas I'd avoid Greenwich ave, Dixon Dr, William boulevard.

I have never lived in Pimpama however I have worked as a real estate agent in the area for a number of years. I write this review with the intention of providing someone who is not familiar with the area an overview of the suburb and hope it is useful in some way.

Pimpama has been labelled one of the fastest growing suburbs in the country in terms of population growth. Located on the northern end of the Gold Coast it has the benefit of being an easy commute to either Brisbane and the Gold Coast's many lifestyle attractions.

The high population growth is no doubt being fuelled by the incredible amount of residential & commercial development happening in the area, with high growth naturally comes a certain amount of growing pains which in Pimpama has included infrastructure development struggling to keep pace with the population growth.

That said there is a large number of infrastructure projects that have either been completed recently, is currently under construction or been approved and soon to be commenced. This includes widening of important roads to alleviate congestion, completion of new schools and shopping centres, approval for a Pimpama Train Station and construction of a new Sporting & Aquatic centre to name just a few.

As a large suburb that stretches across both sides of the M1 it offers a wide range of housing options with certain sections of the suburb being older and more established and others very new and higher density. As a result you have a massive selection of freestanding 3 & 4 bedroom houses, townhouse complexes, duplexes and upmarket estates some featuring lifestyle facilities such as swimming pool, club house and golf course.

With so much growth, development and choice whether you are looking for your first home, to upgrade or downsize, a sea change or an investment property to buy or rent - Pimpama continues to be a popular choice for those comfortable with taking advantage of the area's growth, affordability and central location in exchange for some growing pains that comes with the territory (most of which is currently being addressed).

We rent here, our home is newish which is nice and we are on the corner so we more yard than most, rents are overpriced like most suburbs. The Junction shops are rough and grubby. Streets are narrow and driveways are often short so parking on the street is normal - which is probably why there are so many car break ins. Aggressive hoons are rampant doing burnouts at all hours. In 4 years living in Upper Coomera we rang the police once, here in 18 months its been around 10 times, drunk people fighting mainly, so the Tavern they are going to build is not what we need. As soon as we can we are moving. Yawalpah Road is better since they fixed it but its going to be much better when the exit to the motorway is fixed. The schools are not air conditioned so we drive to Upper Coomera. Pimpama City shops are nice.

Pimpama is an unsafe suburb there is not a single day that you don't have cars doing burnouts and the sound of continuous police sirens
The houses are built on small 400 or less blocks and Yawalpah road is a death trap.
I hope this review helps someone considering moving to Pimpama my advise is buy or rent anywhere else because Pimpama is a depressing unsafe area to live

Don't listen to any one who tells you its close to everything.
Its a depressing suburb. Cheap for a reason. That reason being new cheaply built homes, jammed tightly together, in the middle of a cane field.
How did they get those streets so narrow?

I have lived in pimpama for three years, When we first moved here there was lots of bush and was a nice neighborhood. In the time we have lived here there has been a huge amount of development and all the bush is getting cut down to make room for it.
The bigger the place becomes the worst it gets.

I moved to Pimpama in 2016 and left in 2018. I feel like Pimpama has a real strong community and lots of friendly people in the neighbourhood. I made friends with all my neighbours, and whenever my dog ever got out from the yard, whoever found him was always a caring stranger that went of of their way to make sure he got home safe.

There is also a Pimpama neighbours Facebook group which I think is great for connecting a small community. I think a lot of people are renting in Pimpama, as for the quality of rental properties I think a lot of others can agree that these houses were built cheap, as quick as possible and not much quality or care put into it as there was always something wrong or not done right.

Some negatives I do have to say, was that the roads and traffic definitely are a deal breaker. School and work traffic in the mornings and afternoons, everyone is just as over it and there have been many car accidents. With there really only being two ways out of Pimpama, it can get frustrating if you need to get to the highway, and then have even more traffic whenever there is a delay or accident on the M1.

I have heard of a lot of breaks ins, thefts, stolen vehicles, troubled teenagers, domestic violence etc (which happens no matter where you go). But nothing seriously bad had ever happened to me personally, other than some fishing rods go missing from the front of my house.

There wasn't that much to do in Pimpama for entertainment, but at least Woolworths, a nail salon and good coffee was within walking distance.

Overall I did enjoy living there but could only ever live there temporarily. I wouldn’t want to buy a house and live there permanently.

Close to the highway half way between GC and Bris. There is so much new devolpment happening it’s great. More shopping options. More rental choices. Houses are a little close but who cares make friends with your neighbors grumpy people below.

Home sweet home, a bit tight but its a peaceful place. some people are being too picky and petty about it. love this place

Houses are packed together like sardines, if any one entertains in their back yard which is a few feet from your back doorstep you can hear it like it’s in your own house.. the yards are so small that if you have a dog and it barks ..neighbours complain to the council or leave notes on your front door.. it’s sugested you get barking collars for it..there is a lot of break ins to cars and houses.. really research it before moving here..only sorry we didn’t.

Pimpama and coomera and most of these areas on the gold coast fringe are just full of kids pushing prams and uneducated bogan tattooed types raising famillies, the houses are all packed together and the alot of the local kids care more about there fashion and meeting up with friends than they do about school, jobs etc. Very un classy area it is middle class but i dont like it and dont try and argue with me because this is litteraly what these areas are like

Cars and houses broken into daily / nightly . If you are going to be paying an excessive amount for rent look at a different area as it’s not a great area by any means

Actually traffic is already an issue. High volume of renters. Return on investment not so good. Gainsborough Greens is by far the best estate out there but others bring it down in terms of property values. Vacant land values are also above market rate and people have issues getting their loans approved because their house and land doesn't value up.

For some, this is a gateway to home ownership or at least a stepping stone where rent is cheap you can accumulate savings. If you are happy to be in an urban jungle surrounded by houses, cars and renters and isolated to the rest of the gold coast.

This is a place for some.

Have been living here for 2 years no complaints. Community is great. So many new houses and shopping centeres are building.

Pimpama is an outer suburb.
There are some beautiful large acreage properties with a lovely country feel. Yet only half hour to south Brisbane and an hour to Gold Coast beaches.
HOWEVER, for the rest with a budget of less than $600K, Its main feature/attraction is its close proximity to a motor way.
Real estate agents will use the motorway as a sell point, however the motor way is a parking lot most of the time. You’ll spend a lot of time in traffic.
Its mainly 400m2 blocks with cheep new houses tightly packed in, next to a motorway, with the basic services and recreation of an outer suburb.

No TV reception despite having an antenna. No wireless reception. We are in a black spot. Optus are way behind in their game on this. They only offer expensive NBN plans as a substitute for their poor coverage. All residents who want NBN must pay a government one-off $300 new development area connection fee. There is a need for more shopping options and for medical facilities, such as chiropractic, etc. Also a need for Pilates and yoga groups. Traffic is a hazard between the two roundabouts from Exit 49 to Yahwalpah Rd. Trucks, and other vehicles, go flying through there, when the speed limit is only 60kmph. I was almost taken out by a truck coming across toward Rifle Range Rd recently - right near the very spot where flowers are taped to a sign pole. The immediate double merge lane just as you exit the Yahwalpah Rd roundabout is a dangerous exit; as cars flying around in the right lane attempt to overtake the merging left lane drivers onto the M1.
There is no nearby local community centre, that I am aware of, on this side of the M1 for socialization support of the community.

Ideally located for young families need access to Brisbane and to the Coast. Great range of schools, parks and local activities, it needs more shopping options but they are all on their way.

Beautiful, peaceful, quiet, green and lush and everyone is friendly. A nice neigbourly feel. We bought our second home here. Find it quite central to the Gold Coast and Brisbane. Gateway Bridge is approx 35 min drive. I agree with all the other positive comments on here. Pimpama Perfect ! I guess the only thing we need is a major service station and a woolies or coles.

We take the boat out on the weekends, only a short drive to Jacobs Well. We love Sth Stradie and the access to the spit. We boat it in often.
Pimpama is not far from anything. We live in the Hawthorne Estate. It is so peaceful, it has a town feel. All ages live in our street and everyone is always friendly. People you don't even know always say hello when passing in the street. I wouldn't know any other place on the Gold Coast that would have this ideal lifestyle. Gold Coast beach is only 20 minute drive via Smith Street into Southport and then you are straight into Surfers. M1 from Hawthorne Estate is literally less than a minute and we can be in Brisbane in 40 minutes. It is always a smooth run. Fair enough peak hour can take longer but it nothing major. Traffic still flows. We honestly cannot wait for a little corner shop and a local petrol station, there is even talk of the bus service will be up and running this year. Jamie Duries Estate has taken off which I believe will have restaurants and specialty shops. I can honestly say that every time I drive home I feel happy and at ease living in a beautiful part of the world called Pimpama.

The tranquility, sound of birds, the locals are friendly and yet so so close to everything. Close to the M1 which takes you either way to Brisbane or Gold Coast. We find it is a very central location and on the weekend we can go in so many directions. Jamie Durie's Estate is about to take off which will house luxury homes, out door swimming pool, an actual wave pool and beach volley ball court. This area is set to me the next Robina. The last bit of land that edges the Gold Coast. We cannot wait until the new Westfield's is built. Absolutely love it here. Wouldn't want to live anywhere else.

I love living at the Genesis estate! The area is full of friendly families, well kept gardens, a stunning recreational club for residents and soon to be state of the art children's park. We chose this area to live in as it is close to the new Coomera Central City shops and medical centre. Westfield will also be building soon. Love it!

Coomera is a master planned community on the Northern side of the Gold Coast. The suburb is currently having billions of dollars poured into it from the public and private sector. Westfield has purchased a large size block of land and is planning on building a new shopping centre, existing train station, town centre is going ahead and much much more.

I have seen plans from the developers to even build high rise apartments in the following years to come this suburb is tipped for growth indeed.

My heart yearns for coomera.. some great houses in coomera waters would love to have a new home here.

I love living in Coomera Springs because it offers a peaceful lifestyle with the convenience of being close to everything. My husband works in Brisbane and so the quick access to the highway and train station is a real plus. Our local Coomera City Shopping Cenre has everything you need to make day to day living convenient including; Woolworths, Gym, hairdressers, Flight Centre, Commonwealth bank, Newsagency, Bottle Shop and Zarraffas Coffee Shop. We have lots choices for takeaway food too with a 24hour McDonalds, Subway, Seafood Market, Chicken Shop as well as a Chinese and Italian restaurant. It is my understanding that there is also a development application in for a Tavern and a service station.
Although I do not have any children yet, the Childcare Centre due to open in February this year is only 2mins walk away and looks like it would be a great facility. I love going for walks around the lake and our Estate. We often have BBQs in the park with our family and friends on the weekend too. There is a good sense of community spirit as we often see people playing touch footy on the oval and going for a walk/jog of afternoon. I am extremely happy living here and am proud to call it home!

With blocks of land now starting from a minimum of $230-$240K for small sized blocks of 300-400 sqm seems a tad unreasonable. When you consider holding costs and an average sized construction of a home (lets assume $185,000 to $195,000 for a four bedroom with two car garages).

An end cost to you of around mid 400's just does not seem right. If you could find lots for around 200K or below I think its great for those seeking a home or investment. I would be factoring in at least a 6-8 week void period for rental downtime once constructed, due to high volume of new house in and around the surrounding area.

Furthermore do your research on rental returns and conservatively price it 10% lower than REA opinions to ensure you get a quality long term tenant. Be realistically and make sure you cater for a worst case scenario (hence why I say base your rental return 10% lower than appraisal)

Coomera Waters is the worst place I have lived in. We were told that there is community spirit here, I am still waiting to find that community spirit after living two years in Coomera (Hell) Waters.

There are no shops to speak of, except a corner shop, the closest shops, doctors, newsagent etc are about 10 minutes drive away.

I am sick of the hoons driving up and down Foxwell Road each Friday and Saturday night. Yes a couple of times the Police have a radar gun/van at 5.00 pm at night when people are coming home from work but they do not do anything about it at midnight or later.

To use your mobile you have to stand outside at a certain angle and do not move, otherwise you loose the signal.

Quite a few times the landline does not work, so what happens if there is an emergency with no telephone access and no mobile access.

Get me out of here.

I love Coomera, the lifestyle is brilliant! Everything is growing here and the opportunites for investments, study, and shopping will be endless. I think Coomera area is going to go up in price
even more so and Coomera Waters is gorgeous!
I love the peaceful, coastal atmosphere and having a relaxed lifestyle but being able to be near
the beaches, and pubs too.
You get the best of both worlds at Coomera!

Coomera is going to be worth a fortune in a couple of years.
It is the modern hub, and very desirable to the people who love Coastal living but want to
feel safe and relaxed in their environment.
The Coomera Town Center and Tafe offer so much to us! And the transport is so close to.

Me and my husband have lived in Pimpama for the past 7 years and we fell in love with the place. It is paradise to us with very good and lovely neighbourhood. Although, it away from the city, but life is so much better, stress free and we always look forward to coming home and relax after a very long and hard working days. Over the years there has been less development around, and now the place is slowly booming and we are a bit disappointed but life must go on. Traffic is not much of a hassle, but improvement to attenborough blvd is a great benefit to the suburb.

I can't believe some of the comments on this suburb. This area is close to Brisbane and the Gold Coast, has affordable housing, its own train station, plenty of local employment, a Westfield nearby, and is just a short trip to hinterland getaways on the weekend. Seriously. This place is the place to be for a young family starting out. It is impossible to see how this area will not have above-average growth and returns over the next 5-10 years.

i cant believe these two below me complaing about all things that they really should have noticed before building or moving there. did you just roll into town on your truck and put up a tent??? Coomera has plenty going for it and yes while it is lacking in westfield sized facilties it is soon to home of one of the biggest centres on the coast. There are enough shops and services to get buy quite nicely and it is also has access to many schools in the area. Great affordability and the plans for the suburb in the coming years are absolutley fantastic. Pblic Transport is no problem either. Dont buy here if you want to go clubbing within 5 k's of your door, but if you want a relatively quiet suburb with great prospects in the coming years then this is the place. Unruly schools!!! have a look around this wonderful city of ours, they pretty much are all unruly, it's just the way children are these days, sad to say, not the schools.

I have lived here for nearky five years and have never had a bad experience with local school kids nor anybody else for that matter.

Coomera is a nice area all in all, it's close to dreamworld and thats about it! Coomera is a good place for first home buyers, or people looking for a cheap rental, but coomera seems to be far away from everything. I have just recently built a home in Coomera Waters which is very nice and recomended but Telephone Service is a hastle, it hard to call people unless you have a lanline. The closest shops is the coomera waters shops and everything else like Westfield Helensvale or Pacific Fair is over 20mins away which can be annoying. The coomera waters shops are very basic and over priced consisting of one expensive IGA and a Tavern and thats pretty much it. Though coomera is close to schools and Parks and natural bush land it is a nice place for first home buyers that don't work to far away!

Our family has lived in Pimpama (Canowindra Estate, east of M1) for nearly a decade. It's a great and very stress free acreage living environment - tops for privacy, space, nature, plenty of off-street parking, gardens, safety, friendly and neighbourly residents who don't live in your pocket but always look out for you and ask after you. We personally know of no-one in our immediate area who has been attacked by bored youths or had homes broken into.
Few people here appear to rent. The area in our view better suits retirees and couples who enjoy being active, involving themselves in outdoor and robust activity in their gardens. For families, pursuits and activities for the kids are all transport dependent out of the area. We were attracted to buy here because we wanted space, peace and quiet and of the abundance of visiting native wildlife (regular wallabies, possums, birds, lizards), and a lack of ill-mannered neighbours. When are people going to realise that living too close to others and behaving poorly are not in anyone's interests? We like it here and are pleased with our spot, however we have noticed in recent years that the larger neighbourhood is evolving and more demands are being made on it. The area is attracting families with numerous cars/boats/trucks/barking dogs not managed, youngsters who indulge in vandalism & uninteresting graffiti. So, like elsewhere, our little slice of paradise is slowly changing too, but it is still a terrific place to live and enjoy lifestyle.

I moved here from Runaway Bay 7 months ago. It is very isolated, nearest shop is 10 mins, almost no public transport and we now spend a lot more on fuel to get everywhere. Everything seems to be 20mins drive away. Mobile phone reception is non existant unless you stand on one leg on your driveway. The neighbours are great, but there are next to no parks for the kids. I live in the Genesis estate - Coomera Waters would be better - but then the drive is even longer.
The new town centre is coming in a few years - perhaps it will be better then.

Once upon a time, not so long ago, I would have poo-pooed this suburb as being bland, unimaginatively developed and just one giant creche for young families. Now that I am one of those young families...I still believe all those things, but at least now I am big enough to admit, it's got some merits as well. For one, it's close to the highway, making a commute to and from Brisneyland or the Goldy a realistic work option. Secondly, it's got some okay schools in the vicinity, of course, it's also got some shockers (Yes UCSC- I'm looking in your direction!) There's good shopping close by in the way of Helensvale and plenty of Grocery shops and a fair amount of daycare facilities. All in all, if bland is your thing, then welcome to suburbian utopia.

Coomera is located at the northern end of the Gold Coast and is a new suburb with continued growth. This area has been expanded by builders and developers into a highly sort after area with prices lower than most other Gold Coast areas. There are several shopping centers with supermarkets and specialty shops and medical centers. The Lost City Hotel offers food and entertainment and you are only minutes from Dreamworld. Although there are a few fine private schools in the area the one blot on the area is Upper Coomera State College. This primary and secondary school combined is one of the worst schools in the area for discipline problems and unruly behavior. Use the Catholic and private schools.
